Day 111: Dec 10th - Hired Captain to sail boat to Messina

It is so beautiful here that we are going to travel the island and explore. We'll pick up the boat in Messina in three days.

Day 110: Dec 9, 2009 - Trapani, Sicily to Trappeto

Sailed from 6am to 2:25pm, and covered 48 miles to the small town of Trappeto. Popular vacation spot with great beaches. From that moment onwards, a wonderful revival caused a rupture with the past thanks to the same residents of Trappeto who were inspired by a renewed faith and an inexhaustible need for humanization and justice towards a destiny of inexorable progress.
